Jojie started playing ping pong at the age of 11 using only plain wooden paddles against his cousins at home . He seriously played it during his high school junior level. He did not play ping pong for more than six years after high school. The game he loves has back in his company at Amkor Technolgy in Binan, Laguna. He regularly play the game during breaktime and free time. He played yearly at the national age group competition and played with other RP team players.

Call it table tennis, or ping pong, the game is the same played with wooden paddles and white celluloid balls, on a regulation large blue table, with white lines, and a low net across the middle
